TCM Diagnosis – Inquiry (Spleen System)

I think all students have some kind of Spleen Qi deficiency. Either brought on by overthinking, overstudying, or eating too much sugar! Such is the student’s life. I was no exception in TCM College. I definitely had SP Qi deficiency with excess Dampness. You can read my funny Spleen story here!

Nowadays in my practice, I see many patients with Spleen Qi deficiency and Liver Qi stagnation. Probably the most common TCM patterns in our Western world!

As practitioners, we truly have to be detectives. We keep looking for clues and get all the facts. We have to, in order to make a tailored treatment for each patient. It is necessary to get a successful outcome.

In this series, I have decided to divide the Inquiry part of the TCM diagnosis methods by each System.

Today, I look at the Spleen System how to differentiate all its patterns with symptoms, and what questions to ask.

Enjoy the video below and let me know what you think.
And as always keep rocking with TCM!
