Why is it important to understand the 5 Seasons changes, the 24 hours health clock and the 7 years life cycles according to Chinese Medicine? Because, it is extremely useful in clinical practice! These circadian cycles follow nature, which help give us clues of imbalance. It also helps us educate our patients when we are discussing disease prevention and healing. Amazing!
The 24 hour health clock follows the 12 meridians pathways and cyclical flow of Qi, as well connect to the earth rotating on itself. The monthly lunar cycles are felt mostly by women (Yin) and their menstruation. Let’s look at the 5 Element Theory. The seasonal changes happen as the Earth rotates around the sun. It affects our physical, emotional, and spiritual alignment with the universe.
