Today, we are talking all about marketing your acupuncture practice! I recently hosted an online session alongside Michelle Grasek of Acupuncture Marketing School, and I am excited to share the recording with you today. It is all about marketing for acupuncturists. We answered questions, shared our experiences, and offered practical tips to help you grow your practice effectively.

Many of us as acupuncturists have a wealth of TCM knowledge, but without the right marketing strategies, it becomes difficult to attract patients through our doors. The goal is to create a successful practice so that we can transform lives, one patient at a time. Michelle and I have shared some actionable tips that can aid you in doing just that.

Whether you’re an acupuncture student, an acupuncturist, or just want to build your practice more—this video is for you.

Because you and I both know… acupuncture rocks—and so do you.

Marketing Your Acupuncture Practice with Michelle Grasek

The Power of Community Engagement

Whether you’re a newly graduated student or a seasoned practitioner looking to boost your patient numbers, getting involved in your local community is crucial. Michelle suggests reaching out to local businesses, sending friendly introduction emails, and even hosting an open house to showcase your acupuncture techniques. The essence of this strategy is to make connections — let people know you exist and how you can help them.

Making the Most of Social Media

Social media can serve as a vital tool for building your practice. From our conversation, it’s clear that consistency and engagement are key. Whether it’s commenting on local businesses’ profiles or sharing your expertise, being active and sincere online will create opportunities for connection and visibility. And remember, it’s not always about the number of posts but about the value they provide.

Leveraging Your Website

If social media isn’t your thing, ensure your website makes a lasting impression. It should clearly communicate who you are, what you offer, and how potential clients can reach you. Michelle and I both agree that having your pricing visible is essential — transparency builds trust. Fill your website with keywords and phrases that potential clients might be searching for, like “acupuncture in [Your Town]” or specifics about conditions you treat.

Building Trust with Every Interaction

Trust is the bedrock of growing your practice. From the way you present yourself online to how you communicate with your patients in person, every interaction is an opportunity to build credibility. As Michelle advises, follow-up calls after a patient’s first appointment add a personal touch and show you care about their experience with your treatment.

Encouragement and Continuous Learning

Finally, I want to encourage you not to shy away from marketing because it seems daunting. Like TCM, it can be a fun and rewarding field to explore. Every new tactic is a chance to engage with more people and share the wonderful benefits of acupuncture. Be willing to learn, try new things, and keep finding ways to connect with your community.

If you have one takeaway from my conversation with Michelle, let it be this: Take action today towards growing your practice. Whether it’s optimizing your website, learning a new social media strategy, or even signing up for a marketing class, every step you take is progress. Thank you for reading, and feel free to comment below on what marketing actions you’re planning to take. Here’s to our journey in spreading health and wellness through acupuncture!
