Hello, beautiful TCM Rock Stars! I can hardly believe I’m writing these words: AcuPro Academy is celebrating its 10th anniversary! As I sit here, reflecting on this incredible journey, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude, joy, and excitement for what’s to come. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and share the story of how a simple idea blossomed into a global TCM family.
Flowers, White Sheets, and Big Dreams 🌼
Picture this: It’s 2014, and I’m sitting on a stool in my garage, a white sheet hung behind me as a makeshift wall, and a vase of flowers strategically placed in the frame.
Why flowers? I honestly thought that’s what you were supposed to do when you’re on camera! Looking back, I can’t help but laugh at my naivety, but that’s where it all began. I had this crazy idea to create AcuPro Academy, a platform to support students in their TCM learning journey. Even though I was nervous and had little technological skills, I started recording videos, determined to make TCM easy to learn and fun to grasp for everyone.

There’s a saying that it takes a village to raise a child. Well, it takes a global community to build an academy, and that’s exactly what we’ve created together. To everyone who has been with me since those early, cartoon videos – your consistent support has been a cornerstone of our growth. Those with insightful questions during live sessions have sparked some of our best discussions. Every single person’s enthusiasm and dedication to applying TCM principles have inspired countless others. And to everyone representing our international family, your perspectives have enriched our understanding and truly made AcuPro a global phenomenon. Each of you has truly played a crucial role in shaping AcuPro Academy.

This journey hasn’t always been smooth sailing. There were moments when I almost walked away from it all. The pressure of consistently creating content, the technical challenges of running an online platform, and the occasional self-doubt took their toll. In those moments of uncertainty, it was your messages, your progress stories, and your unwavering enthusiasm that kept me going. You reminded me why I started this journey in the first place – to make TCM easy to understand and fun to learn.
