The Stomach and Large Intestine in Chinese medicine are very much related!

• They’re both part of the digestive system, one at the beginning and the other at the end.
• In the Chinese medicine 24-hour health clock, they follow each other, with LI being activated from 5 to 7 am (when we’re supposed to empty our bowels), and ST from 7 to 9 am (when we’re supposed to start eating).
• In the meridian system, they’re both called Yang Ming (Brightest Yang), ST is the foot meridian, and LI is the hand meridian. They both have the most Qi & the most Blood of all the 12 regular meridians.
• And they both get affected by excess heat!

So I thought it’d be perfect to pair them together in this TCM diagnosis-made-easy video. I look at the TCM Stomach System and the TCM Large Intestine system, and how to differentiate all of their patterns with symptoms.
