Happy New Year to you! I hope that 2026 brings you everything you wish for—and so much more. As we step into a new year, I wanted to take a moment to share what’s coming up at AcuPro Academy in 2026, and also reflect on the beautiful moments that made 2025 such a meaningful year.

None of this would be possible without you.

Your support, curiosity, feedback, and enthusiasm are what make the AcuPro Academy community so special. I’m deeply grateful to walk this journey with you.

2026 at AcuPro Academy (What’s Coming Your Way This Year)

A Meaningful New Year’s Eve Tradition

New Year’s Eve has become a very special tradition for Craig and me. We sit down for a great dinner, light candles, put on some soft background music, and take time to reflect on the past year.

We talk about our favorite moments, the amazing people we met, the places we traveled to, and the experiences that truly stood out. It’s such a powerful exercise in gratitude. We also reflect on challenges: what didn’t go as planned and how we might handle things differently moving forward.

Then comes the fun part: we talk about what we want to accomplish in the year ahead: our health, relationships, family, friendships, work, and personal growth. We write everything down so that at the end of the year, we can look back and see what we’ve accomplished.

We don’t make it to midnight (we’re usually in bed by 10!), because we love starting January 1st with a hike in nature with our dog. Being outdoors is what truly fills my cup, and it’s the perfect way to begin a new year.

Choosing a Word for the Year

Each year, Craig and I choose a word to embody the year ahead.

In 2025, my word was flawless. Not meaning perfection, but ease, smooth flow, and movement without stagnation (very Liver Qi–inspired!) And honestly, it worked beautifully. Life wasn’t perfect, but things flowed more smoothly both personally and professionally.

For 2026, my word is optimization.

It may not sound glamorous, but it feels exactly right. I want to optimize my health, my practice, my lifestyle, and how AcuPro Academy functions. As I approach 60, recovery takes longer, and I want to be proactive—doing the testing, prevention, and fine-tuning that allows Craig and me to continue hiking, mountain biking, and doing what we love.

I also want to optimize how AcuPro Academy operates. I receive the same questions repeatedly, which tells me we can do better in helping people easily find what they’re looking for—courses, resources, and educational material. Optimization is about clarity, ease, and better flow for everyone.

The Growth of The AcuPro Show Podcast

On January 10th, 2024, I launched The AcuPro Show, and it has been an incredible journey. I absolutely love connecting with you every Wednesday through the podcast.

We’ve now reached over 150,000 downloads, published more than 102 episodes, and completed two full years of weekly content. In the beginning, I had to ask guests to come on the show. Now, people are reaching out wanting to be part of it, and that feels really special.
